Today we went for a trip from les Orres downhill with a mountainbike. We were in Embrun to assemble and then ride up the mountain by car. From there your guide will give instructions about the bike and the road. We had Antoine. He was very patient and professional guide. It’s best you take a bidon with water that will fit in the bike. Otherwise take a backpack with some water. We had a trip from 9:00 till 12:00. When you are on the bike the time passes by very fast. At this point you can also go and ask for other trips they offer. There is a lot of variety. We were there with three children age 17, 14 and 12. They can advise you if you don’t know what to book. Don’t forget to take pictures!! Fam Setz

The best bike shop in the area. Broke my cranks and spent hours driving around every other bike shop in the area, none of which sold spare parts. Came across Alps 2 Roues and it is a proper bike shop, good staff and good stock. They saved my holiday.

During the Route des Grandes Alpes from Thonon les Bains to Nice in August I had a technical problem with my rear wheel in climb to the legendary Col du Galibier. I immediately visited 5 bike service in Briancon, but nowhere were able to help me with broken spoke. The next day, the guys from the Alpes 2 Roues in Embun save me and they helpfully repaired the wheel. Big thanks to the guys from Alpes 2 Roues for save my summer holidays and I recommend to everyone. Best bike service in the area!

Good selection of bikes and friendly folks, though they seem to assume that everybody wants electric bikes. Believe in muscle power a little more my dudes ;) Bike locks provided. Photos of ID accepted
