Hotel Best Western Le Moderne Caen

Everything was simply perfect. Starting from the reservation way before we arrived I contacted the hotel to ask about parking and they supplied exact and very easy explanation to get to the hotel parking which they reserved a spot for me (highly convenient). The staff at the reception were very informative and pleasant. They were eager to give us explanations about what there is to do in the city and also where to go eat (we didn't book breakfast at the hotel). The hotel is located right in the center but yet at a very quiet spot and within walking distance from every touristic site. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Overall perfect stay, too bad we could stay for only one night. Definitely coming back :)

Lovely hotel within walking distance of Caen’s old town. The rooms were spacious, clean and the air conditioning was spectacular all considering the price. The staff were all friendly and helpful when it came to recommending restaurants and things to do. I would stay here again in a heartbeat if I was ever to visit Caen again.

The literal BEST best western I’ve ever stayed at! Staff were incredibly warm and welcoming and always were accommodating. Rooms were incredibly comfortable and extremely quiet at night. The staff are incredibly dedicated to making sure everything is clean and spotless at all times. Would 100% stay here again.

In the course of driving to several places outside of Paris, Caen was the first place to stay. I was enchanted with both Caen and the hotel Moderne. Room was small but it is better than Hyatt in Paris. It is like designer’s choice. Most of all, breakfast is the best ever in traveling in France, among 6 cities. Best taste, best ingredients. And hoteliers in Moderne are so kindly and professional. Indigo parking lot nearby the hotel was good It was completely safe and reasonably cheap. I would like to visit Moderne again.
