We rented an electric road bike. It was a Willier, top of the range. The bike was great, and the service around it was great. We were able to collect the bike the day before. I recommend this store! They also have a very nice store.

We were a small group of 4 beginners and 1 experienced for a road bike outing: - Vélo 64 in Bidart were the only ones to offer an electric road bike IN MY SIZE (1m58) that is to say with an S frame. I was therefore the only one in the group to have a bike rental from them because I was leaving from Ascain for the exit. - What was my surprise when I noticed the difference in quality between my bike and the bikes of the rest of the group (rented elsewhere). My bike was as light as a classic road bike (10kg) unlike the others (20kg). - I was able to surpass myself without electrical assistance then with assistance during the climb of the passes. A jewel all along the outing. I discovered landscapes and above all sensations that I never had on other bikes. I was able to go beyond 45km/h on flat ground, go down the passes without braking every 10m as the bike was stable and reassuring. - Half of the group stopped at 30 km and I continued to do a 70 km loop with the only experienced cyclist in the group. If you are looking to treat yourself to a sporting outing with high-level equipment, this is the place to go! I leave with stars in my eyes, 100% pleasure and sport. I'm already planning my next outing (despite the aches and pains). When you're an occasional runner, going out with the latest generation equipment in your size makes all the difference, you can exceed your limits! Thank you to the Vélo 64 team who provided excellent advice with good humor. I'll be back soon, that's for sure!
